A flock of Cedar Waxwings returned to the wooded area next door where berry trees will suffice their needs for a day or two. Their return afforded me the opportunity to inch closer to them as they flocked around the berry trees. For a few minutes, they were only a few feet from me. I was surprised they allowed me to be so close.


My photos of these gorgeous birds turned out better than I expected.
I had a good time watching and photographing them while they fed.



I was happy to see them again...
maybe they'll visit more often.
