Red Beauties

Northern Cardinals...I call them Red Beauties,
befitting for their bright red plumage

Since they're the most populous group of birds around,
I've taken hundreds of photos of them...

Mr. Red- he's the biggest, brightest Cardinal around
~
Yes, I'm talking about you, Mr. Red :)
~
I see you...
~
Enjoying the selection that a full feeder offers
~
Mr. Red prefers to eat from the round cedar feeders
~
"It's more comfortable inside this flower pot, and cooler too!" said the female juvenile
~
"But sometimes the view is better from the top"
~
"Which side do you think is my BEST side?"
~
"Hey lady, where's the fresh seeds?"
~
Miss House Finch says "I was here first, now go on about your business!"
~
"I think I'll dig around in the grass for some seeds, you just never know"...
~
"Yes, we're a little spoiled, but we know we're loved"

  3. we tend to take them for granted - like blue jays - until someone from europe or australia or maybe even california reminds us they don't ever get to see them. :)
