Winter's Golden Guests

I love to host these precious little guests during the cold season. 
Though their plumage is more subdued from the bright summer yellow, 
they're still beautiful.  And, oh so sweet!

    Goldfinches are always such a joy, bright or not! I'll never forget the first time I saw one in my yard...it was a thrill! Nice shots!
