The Blue Jays have become more comfortable at our feeders- they come to visit daily and stay a little longer. I counted 5 blue jays feeding at the same time the other day. They are definitely hoarders. They'll swoop down, stuff their "gular pouch" with several seeds then take off. Moments later they return to repeat the process. I observed that they do love peanuts, so I often leave them a few peanuts near the feeders.
These birds are so beautiful-
I love the colorful shades of blue, particularly when they're in flight.
